Why Refer to Grateful Care ABA?

  • Comprehensive, Evidence-Based Care. ABA therapy is backed by decades of research as the most effective intervention for autism. Care is provided by credentialed BCBAs and RBTs, so you can feel confident your patients are getting treatment that meets rigorous professional standards. Our Quality Assurance teams monitor every aspect of care — from clinical fidelity to insurance compliance — so you can refer with confidence.
  • Compassion-First, Individualized Care. No two children are alike, so no two treatment plans are either. Our BCBAs build a roadmap around each child's strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Care Wherever the Child Does Best. Home-based, clinic-based, school-based, and community-based ABA, plus parent training and school collaboration.
  • A Team That Communicates. From benefit checks to assessments to ongoing progress, we keep parents — and you — informed every step of the way.
  • Insurance Handled for Them. Our intake specialists confirm eligibility and walk families through coverage so they can focus on their child, not paperwork.
  • Regional and Local Reach. Proudly serving children and young adults across Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Refer a Patient

As a provider, you play a key role in identifying autism early and connecting families to the right support. When you refer to Grateful Care ABA, families can access specialized services quickly and without unnecessary delays.

The Process: What to Expect

By making a direct referral, you help families navigate the complexities of diagnosis, therapy, and insurance, ensuring they receive the right support from the start. Here is what a patient's ABA journey looks like.

Diagnosis

A psychologist or other qualified provider conducts a comprehensive evaluation to confirm an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

Insurance Authorization

Our intake team handles insurance verification and prior authorization to ensure ABA therapy is covered, so families aren't left navigating paperwork alone.

Evaluation

A BCBA assesses the child's behavior and skills, then builds a personalized treatment plan based on their strengths, needs, and goals.

Staff Matching

We match the child with a credentialed RBT whose experience and approach align with their individual needs.

Therapy Begins

The RBT implements the BCBA's treatment plan and therapy gets underway — at home, in clinic, in school, or in the community.

Parent Training

Parents receive ongoing education and support so progress continues beyond therapy sessions.

Outcomes

We continuously monitor outcomes and adjust each treatment plan to ensure the child keeps improving, with regular progress updates shared with parents and referring providers alike.
